As long as you have a weapon with variable frequency functionality, I’m in.
I loved my die cast ships. I deliberately chose them over the bigger toys, the ones designed for action figures to fit inside, because they were much easier to play huge squadron-size dogfights with!
I remember watching Empire Strikes Back in the theater sometime before Christmas, must have been 1980, knowing a diecast Falcon was wrapped up under the tree probably, and so looking forward to reenacting the asteroid belt scenes with it!

Indeed – the die cast Falcon was glorious. Possibly one of my favourite toys ever.
